Building strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter

COVID-19 Response
  • Offices:  Our main office in Hillsboro and our construction office in Beaverton are closed to the public until further notice. Staff are working remotely and following the Governor's guidelines on mask wearing and social distancing when in the office occasionally.
  • Volunteers:  All volunteer shifts are cancelled until further notice. We are limiting disruptions to our build schedule by allowing staff to continue to build while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

HopeBuilder Breakfast

Join us for a powerful and inspiring virtual event which will raise funds to build and repair homes for families and individuals across the Portland region. Featuring award-winning journalist Ann Curry, this is a program you won’t want to miss.

People in your community and around the world partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Qualifying families purchase Habitat homes after contributing 500 hours of "sweat equity" and taking 12 months of homeowner education classes.  By providing a hand UP, not a hand-out, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

Willamette West is one of 32 Oregon Habitat offices and 1,300 offices nationwide, each independently operated.  Habitat for Humanity serves 70 nations around the globe.

Our local focus is on the Portland Metro Westside including the cities of Aloha, Beaverton, Hillsboro, King City, Lake Oswego, Tigard, Tualatin, West Linn, and Wilsonville.
